This weekend is busy in Canandaigua, we have the annual Holiday Art Walk this Friday, from 2 pm to 8 pm, where 14 galleries, stores, and boutiques have art and music, including community caroling.

Some of the scheduled artists and events include: Acrylic painter Renee Combs and Landscape photographer Maria Johnson at Artiques Heirlooms and Art, 37 South Main Street. Artist Nicole Yacano from TRU jewelry will be present, plus a trunk show at JOOLZ 237 South Main Street. Book signing of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland held by artist Nancy Wiley Studio, 206 Main Street. Celtic musicians Barbara Jablonski and Kathleen Cappon will play Christmas music favorites with special instruments such as hammered dulcimer, guitar, harp, and button accordions 4-6 pm at Pat Rini Rohrer Gallery, 71 South Main Street. Artist Karen Miller, jeweler Andrea Taft and pianist Bryan Babcock will feature at Wick-edly Sent Soap and Scented Candles Company, 94 South Main Street. Plus bell ringers from Saint Mary’s will play at Finger Lakes Gallery and Frame, 36 South Main Street.

A community caroling event led by Connie Fredericks Malone will close the busy day at All Things Art, 65 South Main Street at 8pm, plus art goers can also enter to win a $1000 Shopping Spree from Downtown Merchants.
